Teamwork

Above all, it is the people involved in Ashbridge who make it a special place.
Excellent, mutually-supportive relationships between parents and staff ensure
that the children are the focus of everything we do. Staff speak with parents
daily and you can meet the head teacher and managers whenever necessary to discuss
the progress and development of your child.
Opportunities and systems for regularly sharing information and communication
are well established and include meetings, weekly newsletters, a comprehensive
web site, notice boards, diaries, journals and magazines. Informal and more structured
meetings are held each term and written summaries of progress and achievement
are completed each year within the school department.
Social events are organised by Ashbridge Families, the school's Parents' Association,
which provides opportunities for families to come together for the benefit of
all.
In addition, internal teamwork and organisation at the school, a vital element
in safeguarding the well-being of the children in our care, is of the highest
order. The senior team, nursery nurses, teachers, grounds staff, caretakers,
administrators and catering staff all work together to promote our values of
equality and excellence.
Because we all work together towards the same goals, we have created a friendly,
family atmosphere at Ashbridge where every child is uniquely valued and cared
for.
