Ashbridge-on-Ribble Nursery OFSTED Report

Until November 2024, Ashbridge-on-Ribble Nursery was registered as part of Ashbridge Independent School and was inspected by the Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI). Ashbridge-on-Ribble Nursery’s current inspection has been conducted by Ofsted as below. 

Ashbridge-on-Ribble Nursery is registered with Ofsted and inspected by them as part of their usual nursery cycle. Inspections take place approximately every six years.

OFSTED Report

Ashbridge on Ribble Nursery is registered with Ofsted and, as such, is inspected in line with Ofsted’s inspection cycle. Ofsted inspectors look at both the quality of education and care in nurseries and assess whether they meet the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) statutory requirements.

Our most recent inspection was in March 2025, when we were judged to be Outstanding in all areas. The report highlighted our support for our children’s communication and language skills and highlighted the excellent relationships children have with staff.

“The leaders have an excellent understanding of the EYFS framework. They have created a curriculum with a particular emphasis on outdoor learning that offers a wealth of opportunities to ensure that all children become confident, curious, and active learners.”

“Highly effective care practices promote and support the children’s emotional security and development of their character. Children feel extremely happy and safe in the setting.”
