Our skilled and experienced team are integral to the success of Ashbridge Nursery at The Fledglings. All our Nursery Management Team, Early Years Teachers and Nursery Practitioners are dedicated to providing children with the opportunity to reach their full potential and all members of the team form excellent relationships with the children in their care. Together with the support of the Senior Leadership Team they ensure that your child receives the best start in life by attending Ashbridge Nursery.

Qualifications: BA (Hons) PGCE QTSCareer overview: I have always had a keen interest in working in the early years and whilst studying for my BA(Hons) in Children, Schools and Families I decided to specialise in Early Years, completing a PGCE in this area. I worked at a large nursery after graduating and quickly became part of the management team, before moving to be Nursery Manager at The Fledglings in 2021.Professional interests: I feel the first years of a child’s life are fundamental to their future. If they are cared for, nurtured and allowed to learn freely they will develop a love for learning that will stick with them for life. I am really passionate about enabling the development of the whole child, especially looking after their mental wellbeing through activities such as mindfulness and yoga!Personal interests: I am a mum myself to my little boy Herbie who attends The Fledglings; myself and my partner spend most of our spare time outside with him covered in mud and exploring to find new and exciting experiences for him!

Career overview: I have worked in early years education since 2000 and I have worked for Ashbridge since 2005. I started as a Nursery Practitioner and worked my way up to Deputy Manager, then Manager. Since having my second child, I came back to working as a Team Leader in the Baby Unit.
Professional interests: I have spent most of my working years working with under twos, which is my passion. I enjoy providing care and nurture to babies.
Personal interests: In my spare time I enjoy spending quality time with my family, going on bike rides and exploring the outdoors.
