School Learning Environment

Ashbridge pupils benefit from an unrivalled selection of state-of-the-art facilities, which foster their personal and academic advancement and provide them with an environment in which they can thrive.

Learning Environment

By creating a space that values academic excellence and holistic development equally, Ashbridge Independent School fosters a real sense of belonging, mutual respect, and empowerment. Our all-encompassing school facilities allow pupils to excel across our TAPESTRY curriculum.

Explore Interests

Ashbridge pupils are given the freedom to explore their unique interests through our vast range of purpose-built facilities and expansive TAPESTRY curriculum. By adopting an interest-led approach to teaching, children are encouraged to learn through their personal interests where possible, creating a space where they feel comfortable expressing their individuality. It is of the utmost importance to us that Ashbridge pupils are excited to learn and excel.

As a school, it is essential that our students feel nurtured individually so they can leave us as confident, well-rounded young people with varied interests and skills. Whilst striving for academic excellence is important, we feel that nurturing the child as a whole is pivotal to their success and development. For this reason, we consider the personal development of our pupils equally crucial as their academic achievements.

Sense of Community

Alongside their scholastic achievements, at Ashbridge Independent School we understand the importance of developing our pupils’ sense of community. Being able to work as part of a group, as well as individually, is and will be essential to our pupils’ success in their education and future careers.

Ashbridge Independent School adopts a house system whereby pupils are integrated with one another outside of their year groups. We have found that working together in Houses allows our pupils the opportunity to encourage one another to achieve success both in and out of the classroom.

This sense of community is continued in our TAPESTRY curriculum at Ashbridge. During Horticultural lessons, pupils work collaboratively together to plan and tend to our impressive kitchen garden, then collectively enjoy the fruits of their labour. Community efforts such as this are mirrored throughout our TAPESTRY curriculum.
