Ashbridge Independent School Menu

We provide cooked meals everyday and employ a dedicated catering team who cook nutritious meals from scratch each day with no-added sugar. We strongly believe that if children have been provided with nourishing food they will be happier and able to engage to their full potential during lessons.

We often celebrate cultural and religious festivals and events with a ‘special lunch’ which gives the children the opportunity to try something new. Below is an example of what your child may eat on a typical day at Ashbridge.
Please note the menu is an example only and meals may change.

FAQs

Discover more information about the food available at Ashbridge Independent School.

What food do the children in school receive?

We provide porridge for those children in school before 7:45 in the morning, a mid-morning snack of wraps, meats, cheeses, and crudites, a hot cooked lunch, and sandwiches and fruit in after-school care.

Why do older children in juniors get a different menu?

When children move into juniors the menu changes slightly to offer them increased choice. We do this to help them develop their understanding and decision making when it comes to choosing a well balanced meal for themselves so that they are confident to make healthy choices as they mature.
