Ashbridge School Sports and Health
At Ashbridge Independent School, our pupils benefit from varied PE and Games lessons covering an extensive range of sports played on our unrivalled outdoor school facilities. At the heart of the school grounds is an all-weather sports pitch, which the children use every day for PE and Games lessons, competitive fixtures, and playtime.
A strong fixtures programme is in place here at Ashbridge, where children compete in a wide variety of sports, including football, tag rugby, swimming, hockey, netball, tennis, athletics, cricket and dance. As members of the School Sports Partnership in Lancashire, our students participate in numerous IAPS events across the region and compete with other schools in a range of sports.
Outside the classroom, Ashbridge pupils can continue to play and explore their favourite sports in after-school clubs and extracurricular activities. Our specialist Sports Coach and facilities allow us to offer our students an unparalleled choice of sports and games to enrich their personal development and contribute to their healthy lifestyles.
