Ethos and Aims

Empowering young minds through respect and nurture.

Our core aim is to provide an excellent education to all the children in our care.

At Ashbridge, we firmly believe in developing the whole child, from their academic achievements through excellent education, to their personal wellbeing through our nurturing and caring environment and healthy meals. Our emphasis on outdoor learning and Forest School across all nurseries and school gives children the opportunity to explore new environments, develop and learn in the great outdoors and develop a love of nature. Children develop and are at their best when they are happy and cared for and our emphasis on this, particularly on the early years, is what makes Ashbridge such a special place.

We have always prided ourselves on the standard of care we provide with highly qualified nursery staff including teachers in all pre-school classes and school teachers with a wealth of experience and a wide range of excellent qualifications.  All staff are trained in Safeguarding and Paediatric First Aid and we also have a large number of our staff trained as Forest School Practitioners and Leaders.  Our dedicated staff team are supported by the Senior Leadership Team who have worked in a variety of areas and provide support to the staff to allow them to provide the best care and education possible.

Vision

To instil in our children; a keen curiosity for learning, the confidence to be creative, innovative thinking skills, and respect for themselves, others and the wider world. To follow a nurturing ethos and build positive family partnerships which promote a happy and adventurous childhood.

Values

Our values are at the centre of the Ashbridge experience, and wholly based on what we believe children need to thrive. Whether a child is 3 months old or 11 years old, our values remain the same with the implementation of them tailored to each child’s needs, age and stage of development.
